LimeLeads California Privacy Statement – This PRIVACY STATEMENT FOR CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS supplements the information in the LimeLeads Privacy Policy. LimeLeads has adopted this privacy statement to comply with California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”) and other California privacy laws, and applies to consumers the term is defined in the CCPA. any terms defined in the CCPA have been used in this statement.

LimeLeads will not collect other types of personal information that is unrelated or different without providing you with prior notification. 

Disclosure or Sale of Personal Information and the Right to Opt-Out

LimeLeads sells personal information collected from public sources on the internet to customers via our database. The LimeLeads database contains information on companies and business people including names, work email address, job title, employer, phone number, social media profile links, company address, company phone numbers, company social media accounts. Information sold by LimeLeads is for the purpose  of business to business marketing and sales and recruiting. All information sold is bound by a licensing agreement and limited to marketing, sales and recruiting activities. 

You have the right to opt out of the sale of personal information by LimeLeads by visiting our Privacy Center and submitting a Do Not Sell My Info Request or emailing [email protected]. Before we can comply with requests we must check your identity by verifying you have control over the email inbox associated with the profile(s) in question. If we are unable to verify control via email you can contact us about alternative verification methods.

In the last twelve months we have sold and disclosed the following categories of personal information for business purposes:

Category I Professional or employment-related information

All personal information sold and disclosed under the above identified categories is restricted to business contact information and a person’s professional profile in a capacity as an employee of a company. LimeLeads does not sell personal information on minors under the age of 16 years.

We do not collect, store, sell or disclose any sensitive personal information.

The CCPA providers California residents with rights in regard to personal information. 

Access to Specific Information and Data Portability Rights

As a California resident, you have the right to request access to you personal information in LimeLeads database and a report on the use of personal information over the last twelve months. To request access to your data visit our Privacy Center and submit a Data Access Request or email [email protected]. Once we receive your request, we will need to verify your identity before we disclose the following information:

  • Categories of personal information we collect
  • Category of sources of personal information we collect
  • Business and commercial purpose for collecting and/or selling personal information
  • Categories of third parties we share personal data with
  • Specific personal information collected about a consumer

Deletion Request Rights

As a California resident, you have the right to request LimeLeads remove and delete any personal data we have collected and stored in our database. To make a request to have your personal information removed and delete please visit the Privacy Center and submit a Remove/Delete Data Request or email [email protected].

To exercise any of the above rights as a California resident please visit our Privacy Center or submit a verifiable request via:

As a California resident, you can make two verifiable requests for access or data portability in a twelve month period. When you are requested to verify your identity you must provide sufficient information for LimeLeads to reasonably verify you are the person and provide instructions that LimeLeads can understand, assess and execute. 

If you make a request for personal information and we cannot verify your identity we cannot comply with your requests. LimeLeads makes it easy to verify your identify by demonstrating you control the email address associated with the user account and/or profile.  Information provided in a verification request will only be used for verification purposes. 

Response Time and Format

LimeLeads will try to respond to a verified request within 30 days of receipt. If additional time is required we will notify you via mail or email notification. All information disclosed will cover the last twelve months prior to the verified request was received. If we cannot comply with your request we will respond with an explanation. For a data portability request, we will use a format that makes the information readily usable and easy to transmit between parties. LimeLeads does not charge for verifiable requests unless they are excessive, repetitive or malicious in intent. If a verifiable requests is deemed to require a fee we will notify you before complete your request. 

No Discrimination

LimeLeads will not discriminate against people exercising any CCPA rights. 

Changes to Privacy Statement

LimeLeads reserves the right to modify this Privacy Statement. Make sure to regularly review this Privacy Statement. We will provide a notification for significant changes to this statement via email or a notification on our website’s homepage.
